Well, in flight of fancy, & mostly because I’ve been inspired by the Italian adventure my Mom has just returned from & told me about, I’m going to be adding a little bit of Italy to the mix. I thought it only fitting that I start with a vintage painting of a gorgeous fluffy voluptuous Volpino (the historically Italian version of a Spitz, that is similar to a Pomeranian…). My Mom tells me that altho she saw many many cani (dogs) in Italia, not a single Volpino to be seen. Our Italian friends say they are very scarce.
